Also - the speaker will not be well controlled and will be easily damaged by excessive movement. WebMy side speakers were mounted high on the side walls, but because the couch was against the back wall, they were also very near to the back wall. When I upgraded to 7.1, I had originally put the rear speakers up high on the rear wall, above the MLP/couch. Obviously, any rear effects sounded like they were above me, not behind me.
